We are pleased to introduce SOUTHERN PATRON, more commonly known as ‘Buck’ — a 2020 Buckskin Stallion owned by Stetson and Audrey Clawson, Blanchard, Oklahoma. As a 2X AQHA World Champion Rope Horse, ‘Buck’ has earned recognition in team roping, both heading and heeling, including the 2026 Royal Crown Intermediate Heeling Championship and 2025 AQHA Junior Heading and Heeling Level 2 World Champion titles.
His pedigree — Dual Patron, out of Big As A Mistystar by Big As I Am — offers proven performance horse bloodlines, athleticism, and cow sense, along with having a ton of run + stop, a balanced conformation and lots of heart; giving mare owners an incredible amount of versatility in their foals.
‘Buck’ is equally distinguished by his disposition. He is known for being exceptionally sweet and respectful, and has already proven to pass that gentle demeanor to his foals. At 14.2 HH, and 6-panel N/N, he offers a compelling combination of talent, pedigree, temperament, and breeding value.
